Mate of gourd with handcrafted nickel silver
Argentinian gauchos loved their mate gourd. A favorite cured drink that represents traditional Argentinian habits.
The mate gourd is made with calebasse and is decorated with alpaca.
• Note: mate gourds are different in size because of the nature of calebasse.
• Curing your mate:
You can seal the cup by filling the gourd with a used and wet yerba mate, then pour a shot of hot water and let it rest for one whole day. Your cured drink will be ready to drink once you cleaned all the yerba mate out of it.
• Cleaning the mate cup:
Never leave your cup wet. Use your finger or a spoon to scoop out the tea, rinse it well and set it to dry.
• All products are handmade in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
